How To Get Started
Once you've started treating patients using myofunctional orthodontic techniques and MRC's appliances, you might be interested to learn about how to implement myofunctional orthodontics into your practice for improved efficiency, profitability and patient motivation.
Clinical Integration: Doctor and Staff Training
The first step to take when implementing myofunctional orthodontics in your practice is to ensure all designated staff have undergone the relevant training, which can be provided by MRC. Designated staff must have an understanding of soft tissue dysfunction, how the appliances work and be able to clearly communicate this information to parents and patients at their level.
Once staff are trained the majority of treatment can then be delegated to trained auxiliaries, allowing for more efficient use of the doctor’s time. MRC offers comprehensive staff training materials to assist in this process.
This allows for simple yet effective staff education that can be used to educate all your staff on a system which is based around myofunctional orthodontic treatment. Regular courses are also available - Contact your nearestMRC representative or visit the ‘Training Programs’ section of this website for more info.
